The breakfast is good with variety of dishes. The deluxe room is fabulous and has a safe box, a mini bar and central heating. It has marvellous setting to the old bridge in Heidelberg. Plus, this hotel is not far from the bus stop, and mountain.

It was based in very beautiful building in a peaceful and absolutely perfect location, by two different bus lines. Further, it was near frequent buses and a cycle way, an Old Bridge and an Old town, and the cafe overlooking the river.

The view of the river from my room was absolutely stunning. Watching the boats and trains go by all day was so enjoyable. The family owners were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. The location of the hotel was perfect, allowing me to easily take the bus along the river and explore the beautiful town. I highly recommend Hotel Neckarlux for a memorable stay in Heidelberg.

Location- out of town, one physically has to exit the City. Not walking distance by any means. Parking is extremely limited and it is very difficult to park in the limited space provided. Rooms are basic and in need of refurbishing. Breakfast also very limited not the usual nice B&B type one would expect in this part of Europe. Not worth the money by any means.

A great hotel, Ideal for a base to explore Heidelberg and the Neckar Valley. Close to Local Public Transport. Our spacious room had views over the Neckar. We were recommended local restaurants, these were of great quality and value for money. Good Breakfast
A little local traffic noise, but the views form the balcony are great.

Spacious room, good storage and TV. Breakfast had variety with different teas. Friendly reception staff. Paved "garden" with river view. Far from city but known beforehand. Convenient bus stations nearby. Big, clean rooms and large bathroom with bathtub. Key given early for exploring. Tricky parking entrance, manageable for experienced drivers. Good value for money.

This cozy hotel is located in a quaint village between two busy streets, right between the bus stop which takes you to the old town in just 8 minutes. The rooms are spacious, with lovely balconies perfect for watching boats pass on the river and trains go by all day. The family-run business offers top-notch customer service and serves up some delicious food, particularly the Jagerschnitzel and Dachsenfranz beer.
The parking situation is a bit challenging, and the heating in the rooms could be better during colder seasons.

Friendly management , quiet position , nice structure , well maintened . The internet link is free and the Manager is very friendly to help you for every need.
Far from Heidelberg center , with a lot of first morning ( 08.00 - 10.00 am ) traffic to reach the Heidelberg center . No nice restaurants in the area , you must take the car to reach the Heidelberg center

The courtesy of the staff was wonderful and so was the breakfast. Also, they recommended a restaurant right down the street that was excellent, but not pricey.
The credit card machine went down, so I would advise travellers to bring enough Euro cash to cover the room. There wasn't a convenient ATM nearby that I found.

The reception gave us a warm welcome, the parking was easy, and the room was fabulous with a clean bathroom. The location was great for visiting the nearby attractions. It would be great if there was a water boiler in the room with tea and coffee or a bottle of water. Apart from that, everything was available for a wonderful stay, including breakfast and the option to wine and dine. The comfortable and quiet location provided a nice view of the mountains and river. The bus schedule at the reception made transportation convenient, and walking along the river to the Old City was a beautiful experience. The hotel itself was a comfortable and affordable choice compared to others in the area. The hosts were kind, warm, and helpful, and the bar and restaurant were EXCELLENT. Taking a bus to the old city for sightseeing was easy, and the hotel's location in a quaint village offered all necessary amenities. Additionally, the owner provided a very warm welcome and helpful information, and the size of the room was impressive. The hotel can be conveniently reached from the downtown area, and the availability of parking was a bonus.

Good size room, good value. Nice shower.
Not that keen on breakfast, all ham and cheese, rather than bacon and eggs but otherwise fine. Advertised car park was very difficult to get in and out of in a large car.

Location. This is a beautiful, quiet location. Walking/running trail along the river. Easy bus ride (#34) to centre of town and to the Lufthansa shuttle van to the airport.
While we loved the comfortable foam mattresses we did not like the cover- a little too scratchy- needs an additional sheet.
